Jewellery individually hand made in Somerset

Me3.jpg

I have been making jewellery for over 35 years, initially in Sydney where I spent six happy years selling in the then very popular Paddington market and since 1990 from my base in Somerset and I have been a full craft member of the Somerset Guild for around 25 years. I live with my watercolour artist husband Moish Sokal in a lovely village with fields around us, reminiscent of my childhood on a Somerset farm.

I make contemporary precious metal jewellery to my own designs. Everything is made individually from scratch using tradition techniques. Therefore my work is really the antithesis of modern mass-production which I hope carries the kind of individuality that my customers appreciate. It also means that no two items are exactly the same and also that I can make variations for you in different metals, different sizes or with varying finishes.

On the Events page you'll find my shows for the year with links to the organisers where you can buy tickets, sometimes at a reduced rate. And on the Stockists page you can find out which galleries have selections of my work.

In an innovation I have to thank my daughter Rachel and her partner Jules for, there is now a section where you can buy selected pieces of my work although you can also contact me to discuss a piece to be made especially for you.

“I love, love my solid gold bracelet Prue, thank you so much! 100 times better than anything I could get in the shops.”
